SurrealDB

Planned

Schemaless-to-SCHEMAFULL transitions, DEFINE TABLE and FIELD changes over populated data, index builds, permission changes.

SurrealDB’s schema statements have their own way of parsing fine and hurting later: a table moved from SCHEMALESS to SCHEMAFULL over records that do not conform, DEFINE FIELD with a type or assertion existing data violates, index builds over populated tables, and permission changes that widen access in a single line.

Planned means the danger model is being written and the parser chosen. It ships when the fixtures run both directions.
